Through God We Will Do Valiantly…
When do we stop putting our trust in other people, and simply love them, and begin trusting Jesus Christ? Are we suppose to put our trust in flawed, broken, sinful people or are we suppose to Trust Jesus Christ and love people?
We find the answer to these questions over and over again throughout the Bible. We also look in the mirror and seeing ourselves trusting a doctor to heal our loved one who has become ill. We look in the mirror and see ourselves trusting our child who says he is no longer taking drugs or drinking alcohol. We look in the mirror and see ourselves trusting our spouse for this reason or that reason. Then we look in the mirror and see ourselves disappointed, hurt and screaming “Why” at God.
Do not keep silent,
O God of my praise!
For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful
Have opened against me;
They have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
They have also surrounded me with words of hatred,
And fought against me without a cause.
In return for my love they are my accusers,
But I give myself to prayer.
Thus they have rewarded me evil for good,
And hatred for my love. ~ Psalms 109:1-5 NKJB

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
“Why do You let my spouse die?” “Why do You let my child continue to live a compulsive addicted life?” “Why do You let my spouse hurt me, again, for this or that?”
According to the Bible Jesus Christ, God, Emmanuel, doesn’t really do well with “Why” questions, but excels with “What” and “How” questions.
What do You, Jesus Christ, want me to know about “X”? Jesus, how would You handle this situation? What do You, Lord, want me to know about “X”? Lord, bind my mind to the Mind of Christ and teach me how to accept, how to love, how to help with “X”, how to heal from “X”, what You would do in this situation.
Who will bring me into the strong city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
Is it not You, O God, who cast us off?
And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?
Give us help from trouble,
For the help of man is useless.
Through God we will do valiantly,
For it is He who shall tread down our enemies. ~ Psalms 108:10-13 NKJB
It is God, who is our steadfast rock upon which our trust is built. It is God who we proclaim over our lives as being the God of Glory, the God of Honor and the God of all Praise. But yet we somehow forget and the pain, called anger or the fear, called pride, reminds us that we are broken and must Trust God and love people. We must seek our refuge in His arms, under His wing and allow our loved ones to witness our Trust in the Lord, our God, for all that is our life. Allow them to witness God’s mighty hand moving the sands, the mountains and valleys to place us in the exact right place in the exact right moment in which His work in our lives can be seen by all with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
